The tightness of the sprocket should be appropriate, as being too tight will increase power consumption and make the bearings prone to wear; Chain wheels that are too loose are prone to jumping and slipping. The tightness of the sprocket is about 2% -3% of the center distance between the two sprockets when lifted or pressed down from the middle of the sprocket.
2. The sprocket installed on the shaft should not swing or tilt. In the same transmission component, the end faces of two sprockets should be located in the same plane. When the center distance of the sprockets is less than 0.5 meters, a deviation of 1 millimeter can be allowed; When the center distance of the sprocket is above 0.5 meters, it can deviate by 2 millimeters. But there should be no friction on the side of the chain wheel teeth. If the two wheels are offset too much, it is easy to cause chain detachment and accelerated wear. When replacing the sprocket, attention must be paid to checking and adjusting the offset.
3. After severe wear of the sprocket, both the new sprocket and the new sprocket should be replaced simultaneously to ensure good engagement. It is not possible to replace the new sprocket alone or with a new sprocket. Otherwise, it will cause poor meshing and accelerate the wear of new sprockets or sprockets. After the tooth surface of the sprocket is worn to a certain extent, it should be promptly flipped over for use (referring to the sprocket used with adjustable surfaces) to extend its service life.
4. The new chain wheel is too long or stretched after use, making it difficult to adjust. The chain links can be removed depending on the situation, but they must be even. The chain link should pass through the back of the sprocket, with the locking plate inserted outside and the opening of the locking plate facing in the opposite direction of rotation.
5. Sprockets should be lubricated in a timely manner during operation. Lubricating oil must enter the clearance between the roller and the inner sleeve to improve working conditions and reduce wear.
6. The old sprocket cannot be mixed with some new sprockets, otherwise it is easy to cause impact and pull the sprocket apart during transmission.
7. When the machine is stored for a long time, the sprocket should be removed and cleaned with kerosene or diesel, then coated with engine oil or butter and stored in a dry place.
